How was any of this bad luck. You clearly should have known the risks involved when you made these picks.
Prior - ALWAYS injured, didn't know if comeback was possible or when it would happen
Harden - also very injured star, but a lot of people bought in when he had a dominant spring training
Gagne - again more injury concerns
Wood - huh? the spring training "wood might be closer" hype was outlandish
Lidge - While he still had 32 saves, 2006 was obviously a poor year, people had wheeler pegged to take over very quickly
Carpenter is the only pick I really sympathize with. Depending on where you got patterson and giambi they might have been decent picks but I doubt it. It might have been your plan to grab undervalued injury risks and thats a valid plan. But I bet you had to overpay for harden at the very least. I'd feel bad for you but you had to know what you were getting yourself into...
