Schilling will be placed on the 15-day DL when the Red Sox get to San Diego on Friday for the start of a weekend series. He had returned to Boston for treatment after losing to the Braves, 9-4.

Yeah, there's been conflicting reports on that. Some media outlets are reporting he's already on the DL, others are reporting he goes on the DL Friday. I'm still crossing my fingers it gets processed today to give me an extra streaming opportunity this weekend...Schill's already done a number on my era and Al Reyes/Rafael Soriano didn't do me any favors either.

he will be placed on the DL retroactive to Tuesday......so I guess that means that he has been on the DL since Tuesday, but it will not be official until Today?
"Schilling will miss at least two starts after he is put on the DL on Friday, retroactive to Tuesday, with what is being termed a sore shoulder."
My God the Red Sox or Yahoo is really pissing me off today. I've been sitting here at work checking all day for Schilling to go on the DL. While I have been waiting today the waiver wire has been plucked of Kenny Rogers, Jhonny Peralta, and Jeff Francis....all guys I was planning on picking up in Schilling's absense. If someone picks up Corey Hart now before I can DL Schills there is going to be alot of blood on Yahoo's hands!
Okay being a little dramatic there but seriously has anyone else been screwed by today's lack of action by the Sox or Yahoo, whoevers fault it may be?

Not yet, but I'm worried. Don't blame Yahoo, appears the Sox are the problem. Just do what I do, pretend you didn't know he was going on the DL.
Or, go ahead pick up Hart and drop who were planning to drop when Schilling came back off the DL -- what's that you say? ...don't have a plan about who you were going to drop?
