Jun 20 Baldelli (hamstring) will fly to the Devil Rays' facilities in St. Petersburg Wednesday for diagnosis of his latest hamstring injury, and Rays executive VP Andrew Friedman guessed Baldelli might be out for another two to six weeks, with a firmer timetable coming in the next few days or so, the team web site reports.
Recommendation: According to the report, Baldelli tweaked his left hamstring leaving the batter's box in his final at-bat Monday night at Triple-A Durham. "It's too early to tell the length of this setback," Friedman said. "Until the swelling goes down, it's tough to get a read on it." Friedman also said the Rays are searching for alternate methods to treat Baldelli's chronic hamstring woes, including asking their trainers to talk with Mets medical personnel concerning how they've treated Jose Reyes, who's had similar issues.
If I ever come within 10 feet of the bastard I'm gonna seriously punch him in the face.
LOL, sounds like what I wanna do to Rich Harden.

If you really wanted to be mean, you could punch him in the hamstrings.

Does this mean you guys are going to drop him? I'm a Baldelli owner and I have a pitching staff in serious need.

Just drop him already, he is done for. I took my 5th round pick and took him and little did I know how much of a freaking waste that was. SCREW YOU BALDELLI YOU (female dog). Dropped him for Aaron Rowand.

As much as I hate him if you can spare a DL spot you might as well keep him. As long as you have no one better to DL.

Baldelli just got transfered to the 60 day disabled list.
Jun 22 ESPN.com reports the Tampa Bay Devil Rays have transferred OF Rocco Baldelli (hamstring) from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.
