Rich Aurillia or Julio Lugo?

well i congratulate lugo for beating jeter in those categories since jeter was hurt for a good portion of the year with shoulder problems.

In case you haven't noticed Lugo posted better numbers than Derek Jeter in HRS, RBI, and steals . Jeter did have a higher batting ave and did score more runs. But for those playing in a 4x4 the runs don't matter. For the differnece of probably 30-35 dollars I will take Lugo for a buck anyday over Jeter. And as pointed out. The D'Rays will be a much improved team.

That was only due to Jeter's injury last year.

I do believe that Lugo has more upside than Aurilia though.

Jeter had 482 AB's last year, while lugo had 498...lugo lookin much better now...

Personally I'm a lugo fan, and he'll be playing 2nd this year so he'll have eligibility at 2nd and ss. Not to mention the improved lineup in TB..Aurelia had one good season, and I dont think he will do well in seattle...

That's a rather interesting stat about Lugo outproducing Jeter in a similar number of at bats I'll be moving him up a spot or two on my cheat sheets. To answer the question, I'd still take Aurilia this year.
