aurillia. lugo is a head case playing for a poor team. I think Aurillia will be a solid option this year

Lugo= :-P

Though I am not enthusiastic about Aurilia I would most likely take him before Lugo.

Veteran players seem to play well in Seattle. The chemistry must be good between the players, aurilla may bat second. I'd go with Aurilla, hes solid and should do fine.

Projections for both

Aurilia= .279 avg, 18 hr, 68 rbi, 72 r, 2 sb
Lugo= .275 avg, 14 hr, 54 rbi, 66 r, 14 sb

Not much difference. I'd go with Lugo because he has a little more upside. I think everyone agrees at this point that Aurilia's 2001 numbers were an anomaly.

In case you haven't noticed Lugo posted better numbers than Derek Jeter in HRS, RBI, and steals . Jeter did have a higher batting ave and did score more runs. But for those playing in a 4x4 the runs don't matter. For the differnece of probably 30-35 dollars I will take Lugo for a buck anyday over Jeter. And as pointed out. The D'Rays will be a much improved team.
