I agree with aardvarks post but was wondering who everyone thought would have the best year when it comes down to drafting a 3B (assuming I don't get 1 of the top 2)
Dmitri Young needs to be mentioned a bit more on this thread - especially when you start talking about guys that may crack the top 5. Yeah, I know hes a Tiger, but look past the bias and look at his numbers. With MUCH better protection than he's ever had in Detroit, this career .300 hitter could possibly go 90 - 28 - 100 - 7. Its not a big stretch for him. Wouldnt that put him top 5?
i'll say top 7.. i love fat dimitri.. Pudge hitting 3rd i think will defenitly help him out. if sanchez and rondell have similar seasons as last year, than i think those numbers are possible.. plus if the rest of that line-up steps up just a little.. 100 rbi's for dimitri?? woohooooo (are we dreaming?)
After much consideration here is my top 10 for a regular yahoo league.
chavez
rolen
Blalock,charging hard to th top!
Ramirez,steady full season
Lowell,health concern
Glaus,ditto
Hinske,good power
Ensberg,assuming he plays everyday
Cabrera,if he qualifies
Hillenbrand,used to be a stud
Crede, could also rise to the top
Good luck
