That's an impressive staff. But you might want to think about adding another closer. That's about your only weakness. If JJ and prince felix return to form than you really have a dominant staff.

I agree with the above posters that your staff is superior to those others you mentioned. That is unless, of course, you were in my league and had to face my staff (Santana, Peavy, Haren, Hill, Maine, Gorzelanny, Marshall)!

I agree that you might consider moving some folks for another closer to compliment Rivera.

I actually think He might have you beat as far as sheer depth of his starters. I mean the worst arms on his staff right now is Hernandez , Dice-k and Johnson who are capable of being aces. He's got about 5 guys in Verlander, Beckett, Carmona, Wang and Oswalt that can win 15 plus games. And the strikeout king in Bedard. Escobar is proving to be an ace this year as well.
I'd say you have the edge in the fact that you have arguably the two best arms in baseball on your staff in Peavy and Santana and Haren is right up there right now as well (but he should fall back to the pack just a bit at some point this year).
But If I had to pick between the two staffs I'd rather have the depth of Verlander,Beckett,Oswalt,Bedard,Wang, Carmona, Escobar,Dice-k and F. Hernandez. I mean seriously every one of those guys are arguabley aces (save carmona and Dice-k).
