Does anyone have any info on Nen's status?
Is he all the way back?
I saw the Giants let Worrell and Nathan walk, so it seems they're banking on a healthy Nen.

I'd pass on all SF closers as well.......the guy who looks like he'll have the job temporarily - F-Rod - has blown 20 out of his 30 career save opps

"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

You can only dance with speculation until Nen shows what he has in Spring Training. And, even with a deflated price tag, he is not one of my favorite closers picks for 2004. Fortunately the Giants have enough bullpen depth to at least temporarily handle the permenant loss of Nen.
PS: I was thinking that Boston would better off on the shoulders of Schilling and Foulke (unless Marshall and Curt's one "l" cousin are dynamic non-roster spring training invitees that I am unfamiliar with

).
