Hope I am not asking something already covered, but everyone I have asked cannot give me an answer.

What is the name of the World Series Trophy?

Exactly what I figured. Everybody thinks they know the name, but I have searched far and wide and cannot find anything.

The best I got was that a guy named Temple back in the 1880's had a Series like trophy named after him.

Cornbread, I found that interesting. It was pretty similar to the stuff I read on my mad quest that began about 2 months ago. I have even called sports talk radio stations and they cannot answer this question.

The best answer I have gotten so far is that they just call it the World Series Trophy. I cannot believe it. I will give credit for the answer if someone can show me somewhere where it just says "World Series Trophy" on the dang on thing.

Lofunzo whats cracking, long time no hear. The name of the trophy is right on the front. A guy actually PM'd me the answer but said he couldn't take credit for it. Look on the trophy, post the name, and I will give you credit.
