CINCINNATI SECOND BASEMAN BRANDON PHILLIPS LEFT THE GAME IN THE TOP OF THE FOURTH INNING WITH AN APPARENT LEFT HAND INJURY AFTER GETTING HIT BY A KEVIN MILLWOOD PITCH.

I was watching the game. He got hit by a pitch on the top of his hand, but stayed in the game. He even stole a base. The announcers said it was swelling up, so they took him out. Precautionary xrays will come, though they think it's not serious.
