Isn't Andruw Jones typically a 1st Half player?

Postby BronxBomber2007 » Sun Jun 17, 2007 2:12 pm

Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't he usually come out like a ball fire in the 1st half of the season and slow down in the 2nd half. I can only imagine the numbers he will put up in the 2nd half if this is the case. He is officially going on my bench in favor of Josh Hamilton.

that's not really what I wanted to hear. I traded for this guy expecting HR's and now I find myself starting him daily and then kicking myself every night.

He's riding my bench now. 0/4 today w/ 3K's.

There's no way he can do any worse than he's doing now. You might as well try to buy low on the guy and take a chance that he'll do a little better.

On the positve side concerning today's game....Andruw did hit a few foul balls today before striking out 4 times.

I'm going to let him ride my bench now that I've picked up Corey Hart until he gets hot. He HAS to get hot at some point, right? Then I'm hoping that Aramis Ramirez is slumping at the time so I can make that swap. The other owner would have probably done it right when ARam got hurt but he turned it down yesterday. :~(

I moved him for Al Reyes a couple weeks ago. I was happy to get that much for him.

I think in the long run you will regret this. Not having Larry in the lineup has not helped him.
