How can it not be good? What are we gonna do, play the teams in the division 22 times instead of 19? I mean come on guys, if 19 games vs the other teams in your division are not enough then we should just start from scratch...
Red Sox - 6 Times Indians - 3 Times Twins - 3 Times Tigers - 3 Times
Say it ain't so! So yes, it does tend to give some teams an unfair advantage over others. But what can you do? Nobody expected the Tigers to be that good last year, so how is scheduling going to take the surprise teams in to account? How's it fair to have the Brewers and Cubs play the Pirates and Reds multiple times a year when we are all competing for the same Wild Card. It really isn't, but I don't see how you can correct it.

When Interleague play first came out 10 years ago it was kinda cool watching the good cross-town rivalries: Yanks/Mets, Dodgers/Angles, etc., but I have really come to not liking it much at all. I guess the biggest thing I dislike is the games don't have the effect of playing someone in your own division, trying to catch up or stretch a lead. I don't know, call me a purist but I'm glad it's almost over and we can resume League races for the World Series.
I would definitely like to see it go away but I definitely enjoy the Subway Series. Realistically it's here to stay though since it's a cash cow.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
I think they should cut it down to two weekends a season. One weekend for the big ones(Sox-Cubs/Yanks-Mets...etc) and a secondary series for the second weekend.

Good idea! Perhaps a series at home and one away (2 weekends total) with your rival and that's it. A nice small taste is all that's needed. I might even enjoy that
