Pinched Nerve

Has anyone here ever had one?
I woke up early Tuesday morning with an incredible amount of pain throughout my left leg. I'm usually not one to moan about a little pain, but I couldn't roll out of bed to save my life that morning. So I went to the hospital and was diagnosed with a pinched nerve in my lower back. Had X-Rays, an MRI done...the whole bit. Doc told me to rest it and go to physical therapy.
I was just wondering how long these things usually take to heal so I could hopefully get back to normal.

Honestly, I'm glad I got back home on time to make my picks for MM, Pick 3, and Ladders this week.

Yeah, I was confused for a little but too. But they showed me some pictures and it all made sense.

I honestly don't remember a specific incident that triggered it. I've had back pains for a while though, but nothing too severe. Just an aching and stiffness every now and than. Maybe that was my clue to go get it checked out.

I work construction, so it probably has something to do with that.
