Middle of the pack, how do I improve

I am in a 9 team yahoo non-keeper, weekly, roto league. I am back in forth between 3rd and 4th and never too far from the top, but can't seem to get to the top. We score R, RBI, SB, TB, OPS, IP, W, SV, ERA, WHIP.

I will probably insert Hernandez back at catcher and Upton at third or Utility once they are off the DL, depending on how Napoli, Atkins, Francoeur and Thome are playing. I have been using Carmona, but Big Z is back in for now as I think he is starting to turn it around. I am contemplating dropping Lincecum since this is not a keeper league and he has been inconsistent.

of the available players listed, i like pence (as long as he's hitting, he can help you in all of your categories, at least until wells heats up) and capps (good for WHIP, ERA, and SV).

although i like lincecum, i agree that you can drop him without worries, because you have a good group of starters, and your league doesn't count strikeouts, which is one of his strengths. perhaps you could try to trade him for a 1b or 3b. those are the positions i'd be looking to upgrade if i were you.

I'd try to deal Linc before dropping him. Try packaging him with someone for a better OF.
