About effin time! With Bailey being so-so so far and timmy struggling, I'm really interested in finding out if he could live up to the hype. Anybody dare start him next week since he looks to be a two-starter :o

I hope Gallardo stays up as obviously most of the fantasy community does. Maybe he will impress against the previously mentioned weak lineups of SF and KC.

With Lincecum struggling of late, how do you Gallardo watchers think he'll do compared to him?

Its hard to predict, he could be like Liriano and Weaver last year, or he could really suck. Personally I think he'll be decent, but a tad bit inconsistent.

Finally. I have waited for this guy for two weeks. It was only a matter of time before someone to get injured and Gallardo to start mowing people down. I can't wait to see this guy pitching. Hopefully he pitches against the Cubs so its on WGN. That would be nice.

Recommendation: Capuano strained the game while warming up for Wednesday's game. He should be able to come off of the DL in the minimum amount of time since this isn't a serious injury.

Capuano's DL stint is retro to June 9, since he didn't actually throw a pitch Wednesday. He could be back June 24, which would be the day of Gallardo's theoretical second start. If, in fact, Yo starts against SF Monday and isn't used in mid relief in the interim.
This may be a one-start call up if Cappy really does return after the minimum.
