Broken XBox 360

my roommate's xbox kept messing up on him and he sent it back 2 times to get fixed.

after one time when he sent it back, they definitely gave him an xbox that wasnt his previously. now i dont know if thats a good thing or not. on one hand, he got rid of his problem ridden xbox but on the other he most likely got someone else's broken one. but the one he has now has been working fine, so its all moot i guess.

I thought they send back different ones when you send in a broken one normally?

yeah, like i said its my roommates, not mine, so i didnt/dont know the situation. he seemed alittle upset when he realized. why wouldnt they just fix the one you send back yourself. pretty weird if you ask me.

That would probably take a lot longer, so they just send a refurbed one they already have at the factory or whatever.

Agreed. The fact that the systems are still faulty 2 years later is an utter joke.

Missing out on great games then...

Not really. I think the only must have game on it right now is probably Gears of War but it is probably nothing I haven't seen before.

I have a decent PC and the Wii. I just started playing Counter Strike again which I can play for hours on end. I swear there is no other FPS that comes even close to this game. And I've been playing FPS since Wolfenstein 3D.
