yeah, no this is real.

i guess i was thinking that this was kind of a controversial thing in the respect that turning people gay would be a good attack on an enemy - kind of a weird parallel there. but, no, this is a real thing that got leaked out that was proposed by someone in the pentagon but got shut down.

Well, the gay factor might have made this into a controversial subject, but I think the idea was simply derived because of opportunity. It's really just a basic distraction. And as a soldier, what do you see the most around you? Other soldiers. And you're able to distract the enemy with what is around him the most, it would probably deem pretty effective. It is a ridiculous idea, of course, but it's derived from a simple one. Distract the enemy and gain an advantage.
