I know he is on the DL in the minors because of his tendon injury in his finger. Has anyone heard any updates within the past few weeks? Has he had any setbacks? When he will start throwing? Most important, any idea on an ETA in the majors? Thanks.

I haven't heard anything about the injury, but due to Carmona pitching so well I think its going to take another injury for him to get the call. Its really impossible to predict when he'll get the call, but hopefully he comes back and pitches well before Sowers is able to figure things out again.

Nothing serious. He was expected to miss a week and then begin a throwing program. They say they are going to hold him out for a month. It's basically precautionary. Nothing too be too worried about.
