Travis Hafner's First Base Eligibility?

In my league, a player must play that position for 10 games to gain eligibility.

As of this post, Travis Hafner has played 7 games at first base. Based on the remaining schedule, the Indians play two more games in Cincinnatti and the next weekend three games vs. Washington.

So is there any word out of Cleveland or anywhere else suggesting whether or not Hafner will play first base at least three more times in the remaining five interleague games in visiting parks?

I'm not sure why they would sit their cleanup hitter in 3 of 5 games. Given their efforts to get him practice their before the interleague games I think its safe to say they plan to ghave him in the lineup almost every game.

I agree. I can see him sitting out two of those games (like last series missing the last game) but not 3.

Here we are. He has 9 games at first base and three games coming up in Washington.

So will he play one game at 1st? He is in a major funk. 2 of the 3 SP's the Nats are tossing out there are LHP, and Byrd pitches on Saturday which means that Shoppach is the catcher(they aren't benching V-Mart).

So what do you think?

He'll start one game at least. The question is whether that'll actually help you out
