I'm wondering how game winning hits are scored with regards to being a single or a double. With a runner on third, if the batter strokes a ball into the gap and the runner on third comes home, that would be counted as a single, correct? What about if a really fast player comes up with a really slow guy on second, hits the ball into the outfield corner, and reaches second base before the runner touches home plate?
Basically what I'm getting at is that depending on the rules, us fantasy managers would rather have our players' hits not be game-winners right?

From my experience, I think as long as it isnt a homerun it is ruled a single with an RBI. Nothing worse than having bases loaded and your guy hits a gapper and all you get is an RBI single.
