Have been looking around for the latest on him and whether or not he'll be taking over the closer role immediately. What do you guys think the likelihood is this happening?

Very unlikely, Weather is not doing anything wrong to lose his job yet. Plus, we are not sure if Eddie is up for this task either.

I dunno. I think he gets it quick if he continues to succeed in the minors. He's not happy if he's not the closer, and I really don't think Weathers could care less when he pitches.

If he is back 100%, then I would think he gets to close... Weathers was fine last year too but he lost the job to Coffey then got it back only to lose it to Eddie.

If he's healthy, he will close. Cincy's bullpen has been bad this year. They need Weathers to set up.

They'll probably ease him back into the role assuming he's 100%. Weathers has been doing a pretty good job though but he's really best suited as a setup man.
