Many say baseball is a pretty boy sport. Lacking the sheer aggression of football, or the overdone showmanship of basketball, the American pastime is often considered a less "manly" game than most. Despite these viewpoints, I think one look at the faces below will change anyone’s opinion about baseball being pretty.

Given the recent dearth of any relevant Mets news (save the understandable but unremarkable signing of Aaron Sele) I have decided to follow the creative lead of Spencer Kyte and the rest of my B&C cohorts and poke a little fun at some of the more *ahem* memorable faces in the history of the Amazins. This is by no means attempting to be a serious post — just a way to pass the time until something notable comes across the newswires.
