you are kidding right
happened to me too. about a month ago he hit waivers because the owner kept asking for too much in trades and then finally got sick of him. i personally wouldn't have dropped him, but i'm enjoying his production since i picked him up.
i just wish he'd get his BB/9 under control. it seems to be the only thing holding him back. all of his other stats seem to be just fine.
I don't get why Tampa wanted to wotk on his mechanics when at 22 last season he had a great year for his development. I think that really messed him up, he's thinking too much. He has been fairly good as of late and I believe it is due to the fact that he stated he is going back to his old mechanics.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

They thought it was causing his shoulder pains... Honestly though as a selfish owner, I'd rather him pitch well like he is now and go on the DL if need be rather than have him pitch like dog poop and stay healthy.

While he has looked a lot better since his return to his old mechanics the 113 in 6.2 innings last night is pretty high again - though the 6.2 is still better than earlier this year.
What killed him last night was lack of run support. If he had some runs to play with I think he probably wouldn't have pressed as much to hit his spots. Alot of his walks were from full counts, just pressed to make the perfect pitch and missed. He has a tough assignment with the Sox and Dice-gay coming up.

agree with this totally
Also, what Yoda is saying also totally true on everything he has said. I have seen everyone of Kaz's starts and the ones at home up close. I ahve seen the guy throw bullpen sessions, his velocity is not the problem. The mechanics were part to relievr stress on his arm, but also to allow him to hit the outside corner better with his slider, but I think he was over thinking
