That was his second start. He went back after the allstar break, both wins at home. The second outing was outstanding though, kept the pitch count low, and didnt even have his best slider IMO, he was just blowing that fastball by people and using movement.

I think Kazmir will be fine and I think he is ready to start showing why he deserves that big deal they are working on

The schedule looks real tough for Tampa Bay...That's why I doubt Kazmir will have a good second half...

He just put up 2 solid starts against tough teams.

I just traded for him. Gave up Kevin Youkillis and Chad Gaudin. Couldn't be happier.

Of course he looks great now. I traded him and Kinsler for Smoltz and Kelly Johnson a couple weeks ago. I got tired of his 5 inning outings, and his horrible whip. Plus his schedule is brutal. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tampa shut him down a week or 2 early again this year as well.

Can't help but laugh......this thread dated back April 25 (5 starts into the season),

viewtopic.php?t=298961

Did I take a lot of heat back then, all I did was to bring up some alarming signs and suggesting ppl to monitor his subsequent starts.
