I have had alot of "perfect" drafts. The key is when its your turn to pick, you select players you like and not who is maybe 1% better. If you like your players you will be happier and alot of players are so close together that picking someone two or three spots lower wont hurt very much. Like if you like Barry Bonds, and pick Vlad cause he is ranked higher, you may kick yourself cause you wanted bonds. But if you like bonds and take bonds, it wont really hurt you. Then by your last 5 or 7 picks, when you just fill in, you have to pick players you are excited about. Not that they have to be good. If you think Dave Weathers will get 8 wins in relief cause he pitched alot when they are down two or three runs, then you will be happy.
This strategy works well also cause its easier to draft a player you like than it is to trade for him, and thus you can avoid overpaying.

Lol, no it's a 6 person league. I know it's small but you can still call it a steal.
