Is he just in a prolonged slump or what? I didn't really expect him to hit 40+ bombs again, but come on a .220 avg.
I can't seem to use the search function so what does everyone think about dye.

I watch every Sox game I can, so here is my take...
On one hand, Jermaine is swinging at bad pitches. The low and away curve/slider is simply a pitch that I haven't seen Dye take this season. On the other hand, he has never been a patient hitter.
When he makes contact, the flyballs seem to land on the warning track, and the groundballs are right at the SS/3B. After checking his babip(
