Newsflash to Red Sox and Yankees fans- nobody really cares about your teams except for you. The Sox winning isn't the best story and the Yankees winning 3 in a row isn't up there either.

I think the biggest story is Ripken. Just stop to think about what he did. Playing in every single game for 16 seasons? That's absolutely insane. I think that's probably one of the greatest records in baseball along with the 56 game hitting streak.

Which now that I think about it is probably why they made the list really debatable to get people to discuss it. And by putting the Sox at the front they started a debate automatically with a lot of people.
