My trade was vetoed...was it unfair?

This is an 8 player Yahoo! H2H league. I am the commish and am regretting allowing players to veto trades. Here's what was accepted:

I GET
Magglio Ordonez
Julio Lugo
John Smoltz

HE GETS
Akinori Iwamura
Alex Rios
James Shields

Was this an unfair trade? Some players in my league said he was getting the shaft.

You won, but if the other guy agreed to it, then I don't think others should be able to veto. Damn, do I hate the veto option!
