Ranking the '07 Draft Class Fantasy-Wise

Anyone got a fantasy-minded ranking of the new draftees as far as dynasties are concerned?

In particular, how do guys like Porcello, Smoker, Brackman, Kulbacki -- guys with draft uncertainty -- project?

Also, does anyone have an idea as to the best fantasy catching prospects are? Does Wieters take the cake, or do some of the later picks (Arencibia, Mesoraco, the Oregon State catcher) pass him based on offensive prowess?

Wieters is pretty much the best catcher fantasy and reality. His left handed pop is too much to ignore. Oregon State's catcher, Mitch Canham, has little to no fantasy value. He is more of a defensive catcher with great makeup. Mesoraco is another story, however. He is very close to Wieters due to his 5 tools. Plus, he is very raw right now, and if he developes those tools correctly, he could pass up Wieters. And 5 tools is pretty rare to find among catchers.

As for Pitchers, I like guys like Porcello and Price of course, but I really like HS Jarrod Parker alot. I also happen to think Matt LaPorta is going to be a stud, fantasy or not. This guy can flat out hit. So can HS Josh Vitters.

1. There is talk Wieters will end up at a corner INF spot since he isn't the best defensive catcher and he is so tall.

2. Canham is far more offensive than defensive. He is new to playing the position of catcher and is still getting used the spot.

3. Mesoraco is very raw and has had an arm injury while in HS. Still, he has major upside but may take awhile to devlop.

-This is probably the strongest catchers class in my memory. Add Donaldson, Grandal, & Garabedian as catchers to watch.

I personally think Porcello & Bumgarner have the most upside in the draft as pitchers go (if Porcello signs). I really feel LaPorta could be a huge run producer in the majors and his early pick was not a surprise to me.
