First I've seen this. Carlos Gomez of the Mets hits his first homerun...after rounding the bases...upon entering the dugout..the silent treatment. Meanwhile the runners that he batted in get slaps and congrats. Gomez walks quietly to the water cooler with no team response, takes a drink, then sits, with no congratulations. Only after about 30 seconds or so finally the team congrat's the rookie on his 1st dinger. Funny.
I remember back when Kevin Youkolis hit his first home run, he got the silent treatment as he came back to the dugout. So, he gave a bunch of high fives to invisible people as he went down the dugout steps. Hysterical, and the reason that I, such an avid Red Sox hater, can't hate Youkolis
She said always remember never to trust me She said that the first night that she met me She said "there's gonna be a time when I'm gonna have to go with whoever's gonna get me the highest."
