Thome is a bad example for the point you are trying to make.

While Thome had a good year in Philly, it wasn't as good as 01, and really quite away from 02. The difference is Thome's huge splits at the Jake, where he posted 150-200 higher ops then road. I agree with ARLO and GTWMA assessments.
