I think there is such a thing as "collusive apathy" where an owner:
-breaks a 5 week period of inactivity by making a trade just because one is offered to him.
-offers useful players to a friend because he is no longer interested in the league.
-accepts a trade just to be accomodating because he doesn't take the league seriously in the first place.
When owners don't care about their teams, the pricetag on their star players goes way down. If they haven't invested the 500+ hours that the rest of us have, they might not take the success of their team as seriously. Apathy has no place in a fantasy baseball trade.
