As you said, the first guy is literally doing a 1-1 and losing every part....think of it this way, is there anyone who would really want the second half of any of those trades? Arod for vlad krod for Rivera Upton for Kinsler harang for mussina
I think I would honestly ask the guys reasoning for wanting vlad, rivera, kinsler, mussina over the other 4. If his reasoning didn't have atleast some credibility I would probably veto.
One a single basis they aren't that lopsided, but when you consider that the one guy is losing out on every trade it just stinks of something fishy....
It's close. It's a terrible deal. As a dude above me mentioned, the guy getting the Vlad side is not getting an upgrade anywhere. With a trade involving eight players, there's usually a significant upgrade at a certain position that makes dealing superior players reasonable. I'm not seeing it here.
It's not the worst I've seen, but it's highly suspicious.

Each player on one side is better than each player on the other. Makes no sense whatsoever and is probably collusion.
I disagree. Stupid?? Sure. Collusion?? I don't think so. I have never been part of collusion but, if I was, I surely wouldn't be giving up Vlad.
There are many different types of collusive deals. There need not be sincerely terrible intent from both teams. I guess "probably" was an exaggeration, but there's a good chance, in my mind, that collusion is taking place. I would veto even if not, but that's a personal opinion. Taken as a whole this is an "extremely lopsided" deal.
