He had 6 wins last July against some tough lineups - so I'd have to say last July was a pretty good month as well.
He looked like his old self against the BrewCrew on Wednesday, so maybe things are on the up and up for him. I don't buy into the high pitch count stuff unless you're talking about a kid with minimial MLB experience or younger. Maybe it just took Z a few more weeks than it normally does in a season to find his groove?
