Not sure how much playing time he will get, but the Dodger outfield has a slumping Juan Pierre, Luis Gonzalez and Andre Ethier. Pierre's job should be the one in jeopardy, but knowing how Ned Colletti works, it will probably be Andre Ethier who has to fight for his job. A nice keeper league pickup at the very least.

Has there been any official confirmation other than blogs? I dont see him listed as a bench player for tonights game and have not seen anything on MLB, rotoworld or Dodger's web site.

Dodgers recalled outfielder Matt Kemp from Triple-A Las Vegas.
Kemp should be in the lineup against all lefties, likely in place of Andre Ethier most of the time. He'll also get some starts against righties, again at Ethier's expense. He should provide something of a boost, but his usual power wasn't there at Las Vegas this year, as he had just four homers in 161 at-bats.

That's exactly right.I've got Ethier in a deeper league and I don't understand why they have to mess with Ethier when he's doing fine and just needs ABs to get practice and get going. I don't care how much they paid for him, we really don't need a second lead-off guy who only hits bloop singles and can't get on base.

But Little has been saying some negative things about Pierre and benched him this week, so hopefully Ethier and Kemp can both be in the outfield to stay relatively soon. Do you think there is any chance of that?
