Josh Vidders. Who is he?

The Cubs drafted him 3rd overall. Anyone have any info/scouting/projections on this guy? I wonder why the Cubs took a 3B anyways. :?

Moustakas is not a better hitter than Vitters. Vitters is the best, no doubt.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.

Moustakas

Just because he was taken before Vitters does not mean he actually is better. The Royals made the pick thinking he might pan out as a SS, which is a position they are weak at.

he is the better hitter, and it doesn't matter if he was drafted 42nd instead of 2nd. the guy is going to hit .300 with 30 HR and good defense

Vitters hit in the mid .300's in HIGH SCHOOL

I'm not sure how Vitters hitting in the mid-.300's in high school has any relevance to what I said.

Why is it even a good point that he did it in high school? Moustakas was in high school as well, what makes him better? I could see why you emphasized Vitters playing in high school if Moustakas had played in college, but they are both high school players.

I personally favor Vitters as do most of the experts.

look at my post...i was talking about the batting average. i know it doesn't mean a lot, but someone who bats 150 points more at the same level, gets picked over the other player while still not really having a position to play defense at seems to be the logical choice as the better hitter.

A lot of scouts had Moustakas over Vitters anyway
