anyone remember when Acevedo blew Clemens 300th win in Chicago? He came in, in relief in like the 7th and on the very first pitch he throws he gives up a 3run Homer to Eric Karros.

That was a great game. Too bad Choi and Wood collided.

....his ERA and WHIP could choke a horse, though....20-25 saves not worth that ashtray of a closer.

That was the first Cubs game I've seen in it's entirety. And yeah, the choi thing was pretty bad. Kinda like Johnny Damon and whomever he collided with in the playoffs.

And as for Acevedo surprising us by having fantasy value once again, the Pirates will have to win a game before he has a chance at getting any saves. The Pirates are the next worst team to Detroit so I wouldn't be very optimistic.
