I noticed that Clement seems to have dropped off some of the prospect radars.
I checked into his numbers, and it seems like he's really starting to hit again. He had that terrible April, but he seems to have turned it around lately. I can't find a full game log for him, but he's hit safely in 8 of his last 10 games (13-for-34) with 5 multi-hit games featuring 3 HRs and 2 2Bs.
I know Johjima's having a nice year so far, but is Clement still considered to be a good prospect at catcher?
I guess it's possible with the way the M's rotation has shaped up, but then again they also have a pretty shallow farm system outside of Morrow, Clement and Truinfel.

I drafted him to be a catcher not a first baseman. I already have Tex and Votto. I'm good there.
Given how much they spent on Sexson, I don't see them moving Clement there anytime soon. The only way that would happen is if Sexson were to be dealt, but that is very unlikely due to the combo of his contract and production at present. Count on the M's trying to deal Johjima if Clement continues to rake. If not, I think its safe to say he will be a very valuable trade piece.
I read that Clement is basiclly raking agaist crappy AAA pitchers and that he has slow bat speed, whatever that means. Also there is no way he plays catcher since in Tacoma Rob Johnson is the catcher of the future. He will probaly be a 1B or a DH in the bigs.
