Yeah, he most likely would have gone to them. The Red Sox def. need Lugo more than another young arm. Dick-K, Buchholz, Lester, Beckett, Bowden, Bard...

Is there such a thing as too many young arms?

Are there any Maybin type guys in the draft this year? Burners with real speed?
Also, I don't know anything about this guy the Pirates took and his numbers last year in college weren't outstanding. Is he projected to start for them?

The fastest player in the draft is Ben Revere, who went 29 to the Twins. Very, very fast and was Kentucky's top punt/kick returner in football. I like the pick for the Twins. He doesn't near have the Power like Maybin, but certainly has the speed. Great contact hitter as well.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.
Steal of the draft? Matt Harvey to the Halos. If they break out the check book, they got themselves a very good young player.

I agree, but I think Porcello was the Official "Steal of the Draft." He was probably Top 3-5 in Talent and fell to 27 to a team with an already solid rotation.
