The ball was flying out of Wrigley yesterday during BP. Everyone was hitting them out they said. Not a good night to pitch in Wrigley.

Any additional thoughts/analysis on Francis...? What kind of numbers do you guys expect over the rest of the season...?

I am giving serious thought to dropping AJ Burnett (who was just placed on the DL...again), and picking the kid up.

:-?

The problem with Francis is his K rate. Even if he is pitchign great and winning games left and right, he is still only a 3-cat pitcher at best. I own him and am happy to have him so long as his ratios are strong, but he does not have the K ceilign to ever be a stud fantasy SP. At best he will be Jamie Moyer in his Seattle Mariners primem, which is still not too shabby.

Jeff Francis at Wrigley - 3 starts, 16.1 IP, 9.37 ERA, 1.96 WHIP. Sometimes players just don't like certain stadiums...you know like Oswalt in San Fran.
