Randy Johnson, Mark Prior, Pedro Martinez...oops,
Steve Trachsel, Edwin Jackson, Lee should all be available in the last couple of rounds. take a chance on them
I would rank them like this:
Lee
Jackson (only because he might not start out in the rotation)
Trachsel

i will throw out two names that are so far down the list you shouldnt even draft them but just keep an eye on them: chris carpenter and jason marquis. the cards offense is basically about the same as last year and they turned brett tomko into a 13 game winner despite an astronomical era and whip and a baa against approaching .300. in fact, a few year ago they even made kent bottenfield an 18 game winner. if these guys can have something around a 4.00 era then they might end up with around 15 wins. i am not planning on drafting them though. i will keep an eye on them in spring training and their first couple of starts to see if they are showing any signs of life. woody williams and a couple of other guys have really been hyping carpenter lately. they say his stuff is better than matt morris'. i cant seem to get too excited about a guy that hasnt pitched in over year though.
does jeff weaver qualify as a bottom dweller?

I like Trachsel and Weaver from the bottom feeders. However, I'd look to pick up closers as opposed to starters in the late rounds and then scout emerging free agent talent in April and May.
FYI: Trachsel is a notorious slow starter. No payoff until the second half.
