what have u guys heard about Jacob Mcgee I have been really interest in him as a prospect so I figure I will ask the fans of the team he will play for what u have heard on him any info is greatly appreciated

Jake is strong power lefty. B+ Prospect tearing Single A up right now with Wade Davis as well. McGee will be a good pitcher and is still growing into his body, but it will be a little while until he is called up to pitch. I wouldn't expect to see him until 2009 at the earliest.

I predict him to be the future #2 of our staff. He has immense talent, and if he fills out like I think he can, I think his pro numbers will be quite a bit better then Price. He has been brought along real slow, as the new DRO does not want to rush young pitchers, so don't expect him in Tampa for 2 years or so.
