I'm really starting to pay attention. Nothing I see points to it being lucky, at least the ratios. His OBP is high, but his other rates are all rasonable or very near career averages. He's batting 3rd in the lineup, so RBI Ops. should continue to be there, as well as opportunities to score with Ibanez and Sexson batting behind him, as long as he continues to get on base. Definitely someone worth paying close attention to.

I noticed this as well and picked him up the other day. He seems to be having a bit of a hot streak, and i hope that it is a sign that hes back.

I think being out of washington is helpful, his power is still there, and he seems to be somwhat consistant lately

too bad getting out of washington entailed heading to seattle.... :-°

i just thought i'd ask about him because i drafted him for his 2004 season, so i know how good he can be for a whole season. plus i recently had the choice between picking up either pence or guillen. it was a tougher choice than i initially thought.

I picked him up 3 weeks ago, when I needed a RF. He hasn't dissappointed thus far, though I still am trying to upgrade my RF position. I think a 280 20-25 90 line is reasonable, but by no means a lock. He is definitely someone to keep an eye on, though.
