He's hot again. ;-D

This is when you just stick your lumps and keep him in the lineup. Keep it up Shane.

A couple of Victorino stats to dissect:

I know the sample size isn't huge, but it's nearly the All-Star break and his home/away splits are still really pronounced: .321 on the road vs. .236 at home. Weird.

Also, he has only been caught stealing TWICE in 29 attempts. Wow.

I know the player raters are flawed, but Yahoo has him at 30 on the season and ESPN (weighted more towards pitching) has him at 56.

I can't wait to see what the second-half holds. At some point, he might start to warrant keeper talk ...

I got Victorino for Kazmir a few weeks ago. WHAT A STEAL! If he goes 20-50, what seperates him from Crawford? Not much. Plus, I can keep him for my last round pick next year if I want. Id like the average to come up a bit, but im just nitpickling.

Kazmir hasn't been very good at all this year has he? I know in our FP league he has been down right horrible and wouldn't be owned if he wasn't Kazmir.

Id much rather have Holliday. Vic is very streaky and most of his numbers come in one week bunches. In roto he is great but head to head sometimes you just have to bench him. Very nice FA pick up for everyone who got him during his 1st hot streak though.

No, that's a great trade, Holliday is a pure stud. I got Vic for Valverde about one month ago, and I couldn't be happier. That was the last chance to get him on the cheap (yes Valverde was a small price to pay).
