They give him rest all the time that makes you say wha? Anyways he isn't going to miss time because of Bourn I just don't see it. Your best OF is Bourn, Rowand, Victorino. I don't see a problem with him at the 6th spot or even moving up behind Howard when he warms up again. If they are really going to let Bourn play he will bat second or 8th in the order.

Getting rest and sitting both ends of a double header are two different things.
But I do appreciate the homer persepective, so thanks for that.
Agreed on the best OF being Rowand, Bourn, Victorino. Burrel has been terrible.
We all know Charlie doesn't always do the smartest thing. Either way he had gone what 0-10 before the doubleheader games I believe in the two games before. So maybe they thought he needed some rest. Burrell is horrible and isn't playing at all either. I figure they are resting him because he has been slumping Victorino that is. I wouldn't jump to any conclusion when we are talking about Charlie Manuel and the Phillies because they do some stupid things.
Back in the two-hole, he's responded so far with 3-4 with his 9th homer and 24th and 25th stolen bases.
Good lord, with the way his power has emerged of late, he could go 20-40. The streakiness is frustrating, but he's been one of the biggest waiver/late round steal of the year.
