Guys will struggle, it happens. Though in this case I question whether he's really struggling. He hasn't really run lately, but that is more out of circumstance. I'd relax.

The Flyin Hawaiian will heat up soon again.

Sucks that he's cold but you gotta live through it. And no, I can't bench him, because I know the moment I do I'll miss out on a fantastic SB game.

Victorino is heating up. Well, he has been for a week now. The steals are really coming back and with his 20th(so far today) he now has quite the season stat line. If he could hit for a better average he would be on pace for an Ichiro type season. Way less hits/avg but everything is is looking good.

Right around the time this thread was started I traded Jose Valverde for him because I was overloaded at closer. I was almost beginning to regret it, but today makes a SB in three straight, and a solo HR in the game before that. Victorino is sort of like Rafael Furcal in the OF (from a fantasy perspective I mean.) If he can just get on base, he can wreak havoc in the R and SB categories, and he's definitely capable of getting hot.

Probably too late to buy low now.

Same here. I ended up waving him in a roto league (I have too many base stealers, and a big lead in SBs), and then pushing his value to one of the weaker teams who was last in SBs. Sure enough, they grabbed him. At least he's on a team that isn't close to me in the standings.

I love having this guy. I find it hard to believe in a 12 team (or even 10) you couldn't get something for one of the top basestealers. A guy who has a stat line of 270 10 hr 100 runs and 45 sbs is a valuable commodity. People may not believe in his sb potential but at some point they will.
