Yup, that was my thoughts. Always play in a PLUS league, so I always get this. Of course, the "x" is nice, because if you don't see the "0 0 0 0 0 0", you don't have to go look up and see if the lineup had been posted or not. This way, you know the lineup is posted and they're not in it (not just that the lineup hasn't been posted yet).

Why would you want to do an extra click to open up another window to look at the lineup? That's exactly why this IS a good feature. The fewer clicks the better.

agreed. The "x" or "^" doesn't crowd things, it's only one character. I think they did an excellent job with this (instead of going with "benched" or "starting").

This feature had been on the beta site for a while.
http://beta.baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/I like it. Even the 00000 with Stat Tracker to show someone starting isn't always helpful because sometimes the lineups are posted late. When that happens you still see blanks by a guy 30 minutes before gametime and wonder, until you click the game link to see the lineups haven't been posted.
