I consider myself pretty good with computers, but one thing has been driving me nuts lately. Sometimes when I'm in a Flash website or even in the FBC here, the left or the right side of the screen doesn't show up and I'm unable to scroll over to it. I was on a flash website and I needed to check boxes on the left side of the screen and my computer couldn;t go to the left. Is it something with my monitor (a flat screeen Dell maybe 16 in or so) or is it Internet Explorer? I'm stumped. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

The first thing I'd check would be how your screen is set up. Use your screen controls (on the monitor, not the PC) and see if your width is set too wide.
Keep wreves in General Talk in 2011!

I tired playing with that. It's perfectly fine. It's not too wide.

is all your software up to date? first thing i would do, is go to shockwave and see if your flash is up to date. then windowsupdate.com and see if there are any updates for ie.
if that doesn't work. kick the piece out the window and buy a mac.
strangers passing in the street
by chance two separate glances meet
and i am you and what i see is me

Looks good for me in FF2 and IE7; it might be both the new forum template and an out-of-date browser.
What version are you running?
If you're a battery, you're either working or you're dead....

Are you running IE 6?
I've had this same problem (and it's only at the cafe...and only since the upgrade).
I can't see about a half inch to an inch on the right side of the screen. I have IE 6.0. I just figured it was a problem for everyone.
