wrveres,

By this baseless namecalling, you are destroying what credibility you've achieved. This post is no better than the guest who suggested that all bush supporters should kill themselves.

C'mon. You're better than this.

couple of quickies for ya here teach ...

One... there was no name calling in my statement. I simply pointed out that the Demorctic establishment, like Gore, had annointed Dean before one vote was cast. Can you please highlight where I am calling names teach? Thanks ...

Now if YOU have some issues with my poilitcal credabilty in a baseball forum, sorry to hear that teach.

as for the little test you asked me to do ...

My little 'dot' ended up bieng almost exactly where Tony Blairs dot is .. what does that do for my baseball credabilty? Curious ..

Hey. I was just curious, is all. Did you look at the current political race members. You ranked between Dean and Lieberman. You're a good bit to the left of Bush (according to this site).

I'm just saying that you have some strong political opinions and it seems to get you fired up. I wanted to know exactly who I was dealing with. I'm close to the Dalai Lama, if you want to know. A little left and south of him, but close enough.

And if you ever want to debate politics (without derisively calling me "teach") then I'll be glad to do so. Choose a topic and we'll go. Otherwise, I was just curious.

But isn't it interesting that you're closer in beliefs to Dean then you are to Bush? (according to this site, again. And I used a ruler to mark where Blair was in regard to the axis - and put you there.)

I was purposely calling you teach because you said I was name calling, which I wasn't!!! Glad to see you were able to backup your initial accusation. You remember ... "My name calling is destoying my credabilty"

But alas, it was inappropriate, calling you 'teach' ... so apoligies extended.

I'd be very curious to see if Dean and Bush actually took the test, or if somebody just "Sorta" awnsered for them. Then you might have something to go on.

Even so, its nice to see all those Democrats jump over to the "right" side. Like I said before. Social Conservatism is sweeping the country and these guys are just now jumping aboard. I figure by the time of the election, They wil lbe very close to George in there thinking. You should have them take the test then...

Hey, I'm not the one who designed the tests. I'll assume that someone based the tests on their past actions (because basing them on their words wouldn't work for any politicians).

As far as I can tell, the test was made up by Brits and I very much doubt that Bush took it himself. But with public figures, you can often estimate their answers based on their policy decisions. Obvously, it isn't an exact science.

Was I right in estimating you (once again, according to this website) between Dean and Lieberman?

And I don't know that the country is really headed to the right. Sure, maybe they have been for the last five years but I don't know if that's a statistically long enough period to matter. Look at the Socialist agenda from the early 20's. That's where we are now. I think that we're moving to the left, with a slight reversal in the last few years. Mostly due to Karl Rove's political cunning and disgust and Bill Clinton's morals.

The name calling comment was more directed at your comment

"well the Democrat alternative is .....

Free the Prisoners
Lock up the guns
Kill the Babies
and let Big Govenment fix your problems. "

That's not name calling either. The word that I was searching for was generalizing.

But I would be interested to understand your views. If you want to have a discussion, I'd be happy to. You can choose the subject. It could be something like LCBOY vs. DK in the arod/honus subject matter.

I would like to think that the Dalai Lama would have apoligized to me after accusing me, and not being able to back it up. LOL

Well, to be frank, I meant to. But there's a button on the side of the mouse that makes me go back to the last page. And I often accidentally hit it, meaning that I've lost everything that I've written because of a slip of the thumb.

So when I did so last post, I just clicked submit over and over and over before the computer responded.

In my defense, you do generalize about democrats a good deal. My apologies for saying that you were calling us names. You were only generalizing.

And sorry that I didn't get that in before. It was due to my computer illiteracy more then anything else.

Now, then. I am for legalization of drugs, I am for cutting military spending in favor of our schools, and I am against big government in most cases (although we only have 200 meat inspectors in the nation. 4 per state. Which is insane. In that case, I want bigger government.)

I would like to understand your point of view. I really, really would. Because I just don't understand it.
