I don't know a lot about Garza, but I saw Price give up 1 er and strike out, I think, 17 in 8 innings in the CWS. He looked pretty good, so I like Price.

Price has a lot more potential. I am still skeptical as to how good Garza will be in MLB.

Price has much more potential, but he also has alot to work on before that potential is reached.

Price. Pre-07 Garza, I say its close, but Ive really been disapointed(or, if you can see by my avitar, delighted) at Garza's attitude in the Minor Leagues. He isn't willing to do what it takes, almost a polar opposite from Price, who has a great attitude.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.

Again, one thing with Garza this year in the minors is they are making him rely much much more on offspeed stuff to force him to get it better. His fastball is electric but his other pitchers weren't good. His numbers look bad and I'm sure it's frustrating to him, but I like the idea that if he can get even slightly above average with 2 secondary pitches he will be a MLB stud.

Of course it may backfire and make him a head case.

Right now I'd put them at even. If Garza was allowed to throw fastballs as much as he wants to he'd put up much better numbers this year, so you kinda have to over look them when comparing the two.
